Auld Lang Syne - all the words!!

WOW it's coming fast - the last day of 2013, the night that we all sing "Auld Lang Syne".   Auld Lang Syne is a 18th century ballad written by Robert Burns of Scotland...and by the way the title actually means "Old Long Ago" (thanks Google!).. As long as it has been around not many people, including me, even know more than the first few lines of the song!!  Well I can help you out...when the clock strikes midnight wherever you are, you can belt out ALL the lyrics on New Year's Eve!  (sing it with a Scottish or English accent for more authenticity!!)  ;)

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne.
We’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet
for auld lang syne.
We twa hae run a boot the braes,
and pou’d the gowans fine,
we’ve wandered mony a weary foot,
sin’ auld lang syne.
We two hae paidled i’ the burn
Frae mornin sun till dine,
But seas between us braid hae roar’d
Sin auld lang syne.
And here’s a hand, my trusty friend,
and gie’s a hand o’ thine,
we’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet
for auld lang syne.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
For auld land Syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
We’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet
for auld lang syne.

Happy New Year everyone.  May 2014 be a healthy and prosperous one!
